About Kaleid (kuh•LIDE)
Kaleid, like kaleidoscope, derives from kalos (beautiful) and eidos (shape).
When people’s patterns take better shape, the whole organizational picture changes.
At Kaleid, our mission is to equip current and emerging corporate leaders with evidence-based psychological tools that get to the root of workplace problems, lightening the load and bolstering the bottom line. We do this through three psychology-based services: diagnostic audits, leadership development, and emergent leader training.
Our method builds psychological literacy so you can see the full picture, refine the patterns, and watch your workplace take beautiful shape.
We base our work in 4 core values:

Integrity
Navigating the work in informed and ethical ways, acknowledging our shortcomings, and basing our expertise in an evolving body of rigorous scholarly research

Rapport
Leading with warmth, curiosity, and authenticity to build a mutual sense of affinity, trust, and relational harmony

Generativity
Providing high-value insight from the field of psychology, then empowering you to ‘take it and run with it’

Practicing what we preach
Living out our own teachings, sharing from experience, and modelling a balanced approach to work well done and a life well lived
About the Founder
Becca Schwenk
M. Psych, Founding Principal
Becca Schwenk is the Founding Principal of Kaleid. Her vision is to create psychologically-savvy workplace cultures that leverage human flourishing as the key to organizational flourishing.
Becca holds a Master of Psychology, with subject matter expertise on the relationship between early life adversity, responsive psychological patterns, and workplace intrateam conflict. She felt called to explore this topic because, even in the most well-intentioned organizations, she could still sense people’s default patterns playing out and keeping organizations at risk for repeat problems. Her research findings revealed strong connections between psychological factors and workplace friction. She created Kaleid to save organizations the cost, risk, and strain of working around the problem.
Becca is a seasoned purpose-driven professional. She has consulted for over 50 organizations, overseen team delivery of more than 500 client projects, and facilitated over 300 workshops to audiences of up to 2000. She has provided direct trauma support; managed operations for an Australia-wide rideshare app; and served as Chief Operating Officer for a top equity and inclusion consulting firm. Through an expansive and fulfilling career, social impact has always been her primary through-line.
